The lien has expired and is unenforceable and 17 years old. Do I have to pay and if so why?
Thanks. I will pay this off but how does this keep advance from closing if its unenforceable. I understand Fannie mae requires acting liens but expired liens.
Answer: if it is still showing up in your impute report it needs to be cleared
you would have to contact the state dept. that has the lien out and get it cleared before your dependability report will be clear
