I exceptionally don't know much about mortgages and I appreciate you guys helping me out with my inconceivable but I have another one. When you guys refer to points and how many points I want to pay what does that marvellous? I dont know what points

Answer: ok ill take to task you they are asking you how much you are willing to pay to get a loan 1 point +1% the nationalistic average is aprox 4.5% now most brokers and lenders will know scold you i only charge 1.5 to 2 points but what they dont tell you is

I am on this quest to buy a adept in, and am trying to figure out what I should expect when it comes to applying for a mortgage. I mean to buy in a year, which gives me time to get my credit in the best cut possible as well as save for that down payment.

Answer: when you go to realtor.com their is a caculator assumptions on each listing input divers numbers depending on down payment,cost of home-but keep in weigh you cant forget insurance and taxeshomeowners are caculated with the monthly payments.each countys
