If no, does it go up and down, and what causes it. Looking at 30 year framed.

Answer: Yes the FHA rates will drive the roller coaster just as the conventional loans will. No one can utter what the rates will look like in May...barring any major catastrophes, non-chemical or man made, they should better. But no one really knows.

Unfortunately I am at about a 78% Advance to Value because of my low appraisal and I do not want to pay for mortgage insurance. Can I do an FHA instead? I am accepted on my payments, make $40k per year and live in Colorado.

My bank is saying 5% is as low as it's gone for months. Two other lenders request throughout the day it drops to 4.85. This is FHA 30 year fixed. Who is telling the accuracy?
